CGFNS and Visa screen... when BON?

Hi again... and thank you for the advice for the CGFNS exam stuff. I am still missing small bits and bobs :crying2: about this visa screen and Boards of Nursing.

I understand the CGFNS mob do the visa screens and I have read the info on the web site as well as Suzanne4's valuable advice. Will the CGFNS require again all the forms to be filled in by the school (blue form with hours theoretical and clinical) or will it be enough if the schools send the transcripts to complete the data they already have????? I have done the TOEFL and TWE, TSE pending and planning to start the visa screen process now.

Another shadowy one... when can I apply to take the NCLEX then? Must I wait until I get results from my July CGFNS before I can apply and have ATT?

Looking fwd to hearing from you!

NCLEX exam is $200.

TOEFL and TWE together (when done by computer) are $125.

TSE is $125.

IELTS is $125.

IELTS series is $125.

Licensure fees with the board of nursing vary from state to state.

Your credentials that you had filed with CGFNS, back from 1994, are no longer valid. Depending on where you wish to work, you may only need to do the certification, not the exam. Certification is very different from verification. The application for Florida will ask if you have gone thru the Credentials Verification program.

can you kindly explain why i may only need the certification and not the exam?thanks for being so kind.i know you've helped a lot of people in this forum.

The two states that you listed are Florida and Texas. Both only require the

CES (credentials evaluation service) from CGFNS, they do not require the exam. If you want to take it, they don't have a problem with it, but you don't need it.
