Babies' infections a sign of chronic understaffing

  1. The New South Wales Opposition claims the outbreak of an unidentified infection in a neonatal ward of a Sydney hospital is another sign of chronic understaffing.
    Five babies in Blacktown Hospital in Sydney's west have developed skin lesions.
    Hospital director of clinical operations Janette Sheridan says four of the babies have been treated with antibiotics and are now at home.
