HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY 26TH JANUARY!!...

Sending my VERY BEST wishes to all my fellow AUSSIES on this our national day.

Let's hope for peace in our world & harmony between it's citizens. Better health care for ALL the peoples of the world, more nurses to provide the care & wisdom for the decision makers. Both politically & medically.

I'll be having a barbie with friends, a few glasses of the "fruit of the vine" & taking time out to reflect & give thanks I was born in the GREATEST MOST WONDERFUL PARADISE on earth!!

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE ... OUI OUI OUI !!!

happy australia day!!!!!

Hope you all enjoyed your Australia day - ours very quiet - too hot to do anything

Good to see both the selections of Australians of the year -

FYI - Prof. Fiona Stanley A world leader in Child health Research - Pushing for early intervention in child learning and argues that money should be spent on the encouragement of physical, intellectual and social development of pre-schoolers. - She is based at the university of WA.

Leyton Hewitt is our Young Australian of the year

So well done to both of them Hope you all enjoyed your Australia day - ours very quiet - too hot to do anything - Good to see both the selections of Australians of the year -

Good on them both

Meant to say too - congratualtions to all the Australian award winners - Many people both well known and not well known were named in the Australia day honors list yesterday - Still looking for my name - LOL - ROFL

Tookie

Tookie - hehheh I too am waiting for the Nurses to win Australian/s of the year - naturally because we all are, right!!!? :)

well at least it was a woman (dont mean to offend any guys out there) and that she was associated with a caring type profession

I guess the day a nurse would win this type of award ----- hang about that is to hard to imagine that a nurse wold win an ward like this cause

1 - someone would have to suggets it

2. That a doctor would be less important

3 that a comittee would think we are valued enough
