All nurses wishing to work in the US must have clinical and theory hours in all of the required areas, and this goes for Canada as well. Training here is as a generalist and not a specialist. The hours will need to be completed in an approved school of nursing and show up on a transcript for it to be accepted by any state, as well as CGFNS for the Visa Screen Certificate that is required for immigration purposes.
