Agency wants to get original copy of my CGFNS certificate!!!

Good day to all!!!

An agency called me up and told me that I have to surrender my original CGFNS cert for the processing of my papers and will be returned as soon as my immigration papers are complete. is this OK???:o :o :o

Please help!!

that is not fair... i agree with the person above..... INS would onlyneed photocopy of it...

If you paid for it, give them a copy only. And if they want the original, run from them as fast as you can. They are giving you a bunch of garbage and want you to belong to them, so that you cannot back out of anything.

They are not doing what they are supposed to do. And you do not need to go along with it.

hi to all!...my CGFNS Certificate got lost in the mail...i informed my agency and they made a followup with CGFNS for it...now, CGFNS sent a 2nd copy to my agency's office in USA...can I ask my agency to send the original copy to me here in manila since I paid for the exam?...or just let it be with them for the meantime while processing my papers?

You get the original in your hands, it is yours and not theirs.
