I am currently practicing as an NP in the UK. I am working for US government agency under my US (VA) license, but have been told by NSO that if I am not practicing on American soil they can not cover me in my current role. I'm trying to find out if anyone is aware of a company that would cover me in this situation? I have been researching and reaching out to anyone I can think of who may have advice to no avail.

Did you try the other major carrier Marsh/ProLiability? Did you try a business insurance agent ? If a claim was filed would it be under US or UK jurisdiction?

Thanks for your response! I have an email in to Marsh and am awaiting their response. I believe if a claim would be filed it would be US jurisdiction given that I work for a U.S. gov agency and only care for American patients. I haven't tried a business insurance agent, but that is a great idea that I will look into next.
