The topic has been posted many times already but I just want to ask for opinions for those who had the same concurrency issue in California so I could make up my mind.
I haven't tried yet to have my credentials evaluated by the Board of nurses in California if I am qualified to take the NCLEX RN. Since this process takes money and I don't want to take risk and find out I will get denied at the end.
I have read that most of the foreign graduates was advised to go back to the university and take some nursing major to pass the the standards in California for them to be eligible for NCLEX-RN.
So most of them resorted to take the NCLEX-LVN first or take the NCLEX-RN in different states.
For those who have the same issue, what advised could you give to me? Take the NCLEX-LVN first, then work or just go ahead and take the NCLEX-RN first other than California?
Share your experience please.
Thank you! Any information will be greatly appreciated.
