International College of Health Sciences

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and hopefully I'm posting this in the right area. I'm currently an LVN in Ca and looking into a 1 year LVN-RN on-line program based out of Fl. The name of the school is called International College of Health Sciences based out of Boyton Beach, Fl. I was just wondering if anyone here has had some experiences in dealing with this school, currently attending, or could provide any insight into the program. Any help would be much appreciated. Hi ANADNEC, 

Thank you for your reply. I love self-study and study at home and from the pass I do it  better than sitting in class. I think I feel more relax and at my comfort zone at home. My friend asked her friend, who also failed the same nursing program, called me in this morning. She said because she is a LVN, so she need to take some classes before nursing program. She was offered the accelerated program and now she is waiting for NCLEXs schedule. She also said she passed nursing classes at ICHS without any problem. (She failed Med Surg2 and Psych classes) She just needed to manage her time to study and did all assignments. I am worried about how I fly there, rent a hotel room, and go to clinical site.

I actually took the test without preparation because when I asked them the exam is the very next day! So, I do not know if you will be happy for that. The school is not the best with regards to student affairs or anything that concern the student. it is most likely self-service. If you can not take that, then this is not for you.

Hi William I am currently in this college. We are all struggling this school is useless. They don’t give you no study guide. Most of our class is failing in all subjects and they don’t want to help us.

I said the same thing a year ago and no one on here believed me. Maybe they will believe now! This school is a joke! Save your money and go somewhere else.

They are so disorganized, they don’t listen you they barely have enough teachers. All they care about your money. No guidelines nothing. When I did lvn I never had an issue with the school. I understand this school is online but still. They have to have some protocols to follow and listen to the students.

You are right! They are just flying off the cuff!! I wish I would have had someone tell me about this school before I enrolled. It's hell!

KD says a lot of what's going on in his/her post. They are money hungry, the teachers are not teaching, no study guides given. The class before mines and my class all failed the exams. very last person and this happens every semester and they will let a chosen few go forward. Just make sure you read through this thread and you will see. Everything mentioned is what's going on.
