I'm filling out a residency application and I think I would like to work in pediatrics. I am not picky about PICU, or NICU, or ? Just kids. I currently work as a private duty pediatric nurse working with medically fragile children. Basically, I want to work with kids. So, if I choose "pediatrics" does that mean PICU and NICU and all the other areas of pediatrics are covered, or is it more like I picked to work at a pediatric clinic? Here are my choices, separated by a colon (;):
Acute Rehab Med/Surg; Behavioral Health / Psych; Clinical Research; Critical Care Step Down; Emergency; Float Pool; GI Lab / Endoscopy; Home Health Hospice; ICU/CCU; Labor & Delivery; Medical Surgical; Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; Oncology; Orthopaedics Med/Surg; Outpatient Surgery; PACU / Recovery Room; Pediatrics; Pediatric ICU (PICU); Perioperative Services (Operating Room); Post Partum; Sub Acute Unit (vent & trach care); Telemetry; Transitional / Post-Acute Care
