hi try my table of insulin. i personally edited the hours because before i was really having a hard time remembering this also. when choices are presented to you, just add 1-2 hours before and after or as long as it is within the parameter, this will guide you to the right answer. :D btw, im testing on friday, please include me in your prayers. thanks:heartbeat

i think of it(although it's not exact) but how i remember it is you multiply each number that corresponds to the same action by 2 and you come relatively close to the next(intermediate o-p-d) and then next (long acting o-p-d)). however, with the exception of the 2hours peak in rapid(just make a note of that) and another exception... down the line for all the onsets it's 1-2-3, no multiplying.:jester: so actually just multiply the p and d's.

onset

peak

duration

regular

(humulin r; rapid)

o-1

p-2(the exception)

d-8x2=16(look at the duration under intermediate, it's 16... and so on)

nph

(intermediate; humulin n; lente)

0-2

p-8x2=16

d-16x2=36

you are all :wlcmggrp::redbeathe:redpinkhe

it will be much easier to remember if you could write it down to each column and row of a table of 4 x4 table then stick it at your wall.. :)

when i encounter difficult facts to remember i would write it down in a large piece of paper then post it in my room.. haha! but don't imagine my room like it was in the movie "beautiful mind":chuckle.. just few posts only
