Hi,little advice..it's not the book.it's the content in the book you want.i would get me one book and take one online package..usually for 160 for 15 wks.like ATI..there are so many out there.pick your poison.just focus more on your weak aspects.I'm weak in med-surge and pharmacology.so i advocate more time on those one.good luck.
Thanks for the advice. I'm using severals books but what I really need is information for the Helen Feuer's live review course this what I really need information about.
Ive posted several times asking If anyone has heared about the Helen Feuer review. No one has replied, Iam sure that there are GN's,or working nurses that has taken this review. All I want to know is how effective this review is and what the passing rate is. I just want some of you nurses to share your thoughts and experience. But it seems like im asking for too much.

It looks like several people have asked about it but it's not a well known program. I've never heard of it but that isn't saying much since I'm a student.

I didn't take any formal NCLEX preparatory reviews, so I cannot really answer your specific question regarding the quality of the Helen Feuer review. I simply studied at home using questions out of the Saunders review book, and was able to pass the NCLEX-PN on my first attempt with the minimum amount of questions.
By the way, I have heard positive things about the live review from Marlene Hurst. The Hurst Review is offered across the country.

Sorry, I just read your question. I think the Feuer review is excellent material. The delivery is similar to Hurst Review.
I have not taken boards yet so I am not basing it on pass/fail. You are able to get info regarding this by going to google and pulling up Feuer Review in which you will be able to get feedback.Hope this helps.

I think the review course is excellent, you can do live or at home prep. i like the 2nd because i can go on my pace, forward, rewind etc. i would say go for it.

I signed up for the review course for NCLEX-RN in March, I have heard good things about the review. Two people told me that they passed after attending Kaplan in the past. When do you plan to test?

I just took the class this week and it's amazing. The instructors that lecture to you are very thorough and they know what is usually asked on nclex so you have a good idea. Although I won't agree with the med/surg question homework booklet they send you home with the other topics like psych, maternity and peds are amazing with homework booklets. I feel pumped up and anxious about this test. Tomorrow morning I'm taking the pharmacology with feuer and I hope it's great. I'm going to have the same instructor that taught us Pediatrics who was phenominal! So yes I do recommend this course to many because I was content deficient and they taught me alot!
Thanks for the information. Please let me know how the pharmacology review was.
