Indiana Wesleyan and SJCME

Published

Ok, so I am at sort of a dilemma.

I am waiting to hear on my applications from both Indiana Wesleyan and SJCME.

Indiana Wesleyan's customer service and admissions process so far has been less than satisfactory. No one is ever available, the information that I am given at times is frustrating at best. (Example- they wanted me to commit to classes when I hadn't even seen an evaluation of transcripts. When I said I wanted an eval first, I was told to call so and so, and upon doing so, he stated that they haven't even looked at my file- this after I was told I was ready to go!)

Saint Joseph's College has been very helpful and even attentive. However, they seem to be taking forever to process my application, even though they have everything that they need.

I am wanting information from my fellow students on some advice as to which school to pick. I would like to hear on both, and I am considering both because they offer NP programs.

Thanks in advance!

Do you know if you can complete the fnp online with saint josephs? Or do you have to attend classes in person? Thank you! :)

Online my friend with locally precepted clinicals! :-)

Oh that is great! Thanks for the info! :) and I'm sorry I couldn't answer your original question. I got accepted to Suny Delhi rn to bsn. I'm going to most likely do that first because it is cheaper and then want to transfer for msn. Great info! Thanks again :)

I picked Indiana Wesleyan today.

I am going to CLEP 12 Gen Ed Credits and take a class in Biblical Literature, and then I will only have my nursing core classes. So far the staff has been responsive and have explained everything thoroughly, and I feel comfortable with this- tuition is not that bad either, as I will only be out around $15,000 by the time it's complete.

SJCME- not so much. They told me that it would take 8 weeks before I would even hear if I was admitted let alone a transcript evaluation, so I think I am going to throw in the towel on that one.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Congrats on picking your BSN program! :)

Oh yay! Congratulations!! :) that is so great! I need to start making decisions already too! Good luck with everything. :)
