Indiana State University (LPN-BSN) Online

I was wondering for those of you who have completed the Indiana State University LPN-BSN program, how long did it take you to do so? I was told that I could finish the program in one year (if I do not plan to work) but heard that it is VERY difficult to find clinical sites and some may take up to 6-months to coordinate. Just wanted to hear how long it actually took people who have actually finished the program and if it was guaranteed acceptance as long as you meet the requirements.

As a recent graduate from the ISU program, I can tell you that trying to finish the program in one year is impossible; however, two years would be challenging, and three years would be the norm. I finished in a little less than three years.

It also depends what state you are in. I was one of the last cohorts to finish in California. In California, you could only take one clinical course per semester, so 3 clinical courses a year. From what I remember I think there are a total of 6 clinical courses. The time goes fast. Next thing you know, you will be sitting for the boards. Best of luck!

No, the Indiana State University LPN-to-BSN program is no longer accepted by the California BRN for licensure due to problematic issues with concurrency of clinical practicum.
