Im taking NCLEX on 7/29 & the bRN lost my paperwork!

The BRN never sends the ATT, that is sent out to you by Pearson-Vue once you pay the fee for the exam, and they have received permission from the Board of Nuring for you to sit for the exam.

So, if you had issues with receiving the actual ATT, that is from Pearson-Vue, not the BON.

And since you mentioned BRN, suspect that you are in CA. They are the only ones that have it split with the LVNs under a completely separate dept.

Where did you check that they received your transcripts, on their website or from when they were mailed? Big difference there. CA actually permits a CA grad to write the NCLEX exam before they even receive the transcripts from the school, as long as your name is on the list of those expected to graduate.

I suspect that there is more to this story. Or you never would have received the ATT in the first place. And without you posting of which state, it makes it hard to give the correct response to you. Minimal information does not help in this case. Each state does things differently.

Thanks Suzanne. Ya, I'm in CA. I found out the BON received my transcripts on 6/20 (a day after my school sent them) because my schools transcripts lady said she received a "confirmation" of it being received. But the BON said that in my "file" there is no transcripts received. I had my school send a 2nd set a week ago, so I just hope the BON gets that one in time. The BON told me over the phone to call Pearson Vue to schedule my NCLEX, so I did & I take it on 7/29. My job has me scheduled to start on 8/6. I heard from a friend who just took it that I can go online to obtain my lisence # for the hospital (they need that for me to start) in 2-3 buisness days- is that right?. So what your saying is that I can take the NCLEX without the BON receiving my transcripts yet? Oh, and so then will my lisence be posted still? I just have had such a hard time with this whole mess. If the fact that my transcripts have not been received isnt that big of a deal, then I wonder why the man on the phone from the BON brought it up? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Well I tested the 18. The BRN never got my certified and confirmed they received transcripts. I am going through hell to make sure they received them. I have the good pop up in pearson that seems 100% legit. Well they told me they will not post anything until my transcripts are processed. Even if I do rush delivery, it will take a minimum of 4 weeks. I cried so much today because I tried to do everything right. I also start or was suppose to start a job 8/6/12. I just kissed that good bye. I hope you have better luck than me and good luck. There will be no way of seeing your name on the BRN website until those transcripts are processed.
