So I've been going to Harper College for the past 4 years getting all nursing pre-reqs done. Now I'm pretty stumped on what to do. My first choice is to go to Chamberlain Nursing School but I've heard about how expensive it is, and now I'm debating whether I should just apply to Harper and other community colleges just for the hell of it. I have a 2.8 gpa pretty good grades on pre-reqs but I just HATE entrance exams. Anybody else in my situation let me know what you did!! I prefer to get into a nursing college nearby without living in a dorm.

You have a 2.8GPA? Sorry to be frank but that's not good at all. You need to retake classes you got C's in to boost your GPA! There are people in community college who don't get into the nursing programs and they have GPA's that's higher than 3.5. Unless you get into a school that selects people based on lottery selection.

Is your 2.8 gpa for your pre-reqs only? I wouldn't go to Chamberlain. It's a nursing school factory and pretty expensive. Would this be your first degree or are you changing careers and going for a 2nd bachelors?
