Very interesting. I've been interested with these statistics for quite some time now. Nice to see my grueling ADN program in the burbs topping the passing rates for most schools. Yey! At least we didn't get tortured for nothing. :D

This is certainly interesting information, but NCLEX pass rates say very little about the rigors of a program or how successful they are at educating potential nurses, for the very simple reason that some colleges/universities severely limit (weed out) nursing students at the END of their programs, AFTER they have passed all of the courses they were required to take. It makes the numbers unreliable and invalid. If all passing nursing students were allowed to take the NCLEX, however, this would be a valid result and would allow us to determine how effective the individual programs were (in terms of educating for NCLEX, anyway).
