Illinois RN and Name change

So I faxed IDFPR my marriage license and the name change form filled out. Im about to start a new position and my legal name needs to be on my license. I’m just waiting. It’s only been since Monday, but I’m curious if anyone has been through this process and how long did it take? I’m only 1.5 hours away from Springfield. I’m so tempted to just see if I can do this in person and getting further faster. I’d like to start my new job.

I did this a couple years ago. I don't remember the exact amount of time but I think it only took a week or two. I don't think I received any notification that they changed it. I just checked the website every day. Have you talked to your HR department? Mine worked with me through the lengthy name change process.
