Ok for all you Illinoians, where are some of your favorite hangouts, or places to visit in Chicago???
I love to visit Navy Pear or Brookfield Zoo, for family fun...
There are many good bars, but I do like MAP, in the Wicker Park area..
And State Street at Christmas time, it's just beautiful.
What about you guys???

I agree the Museum of Science and Industry-the body slices exhibit.
I like going to the Navy Pier in the summer and the Jazz and blues festival is awesome.

Of course I did!
ACKKK! Hopefully Friday's game will be better!
Also wanted to add...the restaurant on the 95th floor of the Hancock building. The food is so-so, and VERY overpriced, but the view is SPECTACULAR!
JadedRN speaking of the Hancock...have you seen the skyline at night lately...all RED and BLUE on the Hankcock and Sears?????
A tribute to the CUBS!!!!!
Too bad that they lost tonight, my DH is depressed!!!!! Tomorrow is it, with Wood pitching!

Ooh, that sounds neat, I haven't seen it.
Bummer tonight. Tomorrow is it...I have faith in Kerry Wood. Go Cubs!!!

Thought of another cool place in Chicago...The Cubby Bear! Actually all of the bars around Wrigleyville, especially this time of year!

My favorites:
- State Street Marshall Field's
- Garrett's Popcorn Shoppe
- Lincoln Park
- Cheesecake Factory
- Anywhere on Michigan Avenue
While in my late 20's - 30's, one of my best friends from high school had a condo on Lake Shore Drive. Me and a couple of friends would always make a pilgrimage up to shop, drink and eat. One of our best memories is drinking daquiries at the top of the Rockfeller just as the sun was setting. Our worst memory - drinking too many martinis at The Knickerbocker!
Unfortunately, she decided to get married, have kids, and move to Batavia! What was she thinking?! We try to still make the trip up, but we all have kids, jobs, and schedules! It is more difficult. Sometimes the best we can do is Oak Brook!

My favorite exhibit at the Musueum of Science and Industry is the body slices too! I love to look at that. The kids and hubby think it is gross!
After typing this, I am missing Chicago! I need to make a trip up!
Go Cubbies!

I echo the Signature Room (top of Hancock); love Geja's in Lincoln Park (if you like fondue, you've got to go at some point); Rosebud on Taylor by UIC's campus and Rush....
As far as Wrigley...we LOVE going to Heaven on Seven, then going to the Cubs! They suck this year; am so tired of Wood, it's not even funny. He's injured way too much. Prior, I can forgive, as when he returns from the DL, he rocks.
