Chicago area LPN-RN bridge programs??

U.S.A. Illinois

Hi!

I am an LPN, looking for a good school that has an LPN to RN bridge over program.

What are some of the local Community Colleges?

Thanks for any help! :)

College of Du Page in the western suburbs (Glen Ellyn) and Morton are the 2 community colleges off the top of my head that I can think of; I think Moraine Valley community college has a good one, too. Those are all on the western outskirts of the city.....

Joliet Jr. College is one, but there is a wait, I am sure.

If you want a good private school, Saint Xavier's is excellent! :balloons:

Specializes in Neuro/ Tele;home health; Neuro ICU.

moraine valley in palos hills, oakton college (north west side), harper college.

good luck, :)

This post is late, but I just joined- if you're still looking -Richard J Daley college on the southside is a community college that allows LPN's to bridge in over only one summer course. So in the fall you would start the 2nd year of a 2 year associates program, you may also be asked to do some demonstrations. Tuition is very reasonable. The LPN's that I know have adjusted just fine.
