Illinois BON takes ages

Hi,

   Does it really take 6-8 weeks for the official letter to be mail from the date I pass the NCLEX RN EXAM?

IL nurses and those in compact states + PA can go to NURSYS to confirm license is active and use as proof of licensure until paper copy arrives in snail mail.  Some states no longer provide paper copy.
