HELLO. (my first post of many)
I'm starting pre-nursing next week! Yikes.
However, I can't help but think I'm not taking the correct classes.
These are the classes I will be taking for my semester:
A.)Chemistry[intro]
2.)Fund. Communications
C.)Psychology[intro]
4.)Sociology[intro]
E.)Pea
6.)Music
•Did anyone else have to take Gym and an art/music? I was told I have to. Whether I take it this semester or the next. A lot of people on here have said mainly, they're only taking Chemistry, Organics, Anatomy etc.
*I don't have to take Math & English because I already have my credits for them because I'm a transfer student from another college and different major*
(sorry if I put this in the wrong section/category)
THANKS!

No one here can tell you, each college/university has unique courses required for each major. You need to check with your advisor/nursing program etc. Get the course catalog, look at the nursing degree you are planning to take. It will list all courses required. General education requirements may require taking liberal arts courses such as art, music, English, Math, Speech, Sciences etc.

I saved my Gym class for my last semester which is this semester. They call it Wellness and Fitness, but its Gym, and its there to make money for the college, no other way to slice it. It's an easy A, but I really don't like wasting time and $550 on it, but not much I can do about it.

It all depends on your school's requirements, just double check those. If you are going for a BSN, a lot of 4 year schools do require things like humanities classes (like the art/music). As far as PE... sounds like a tuition $$ grab but if its required you have to do it anyway!
