ideas for gifts that graduating students can give upcoming 2nd year students

It is a custom in our school that the graduating class give a little inexpensive gift to the upcoming 2nd year students. It can be anything that will help them and/or encourage them thru their second year. Anyone have any fun or unique gift ideas?

I always thought it would be nice to create a little booklet of resources, study tips, inspiring or instructive messages (both from famous people AND from the graduating nursing students). That way they can benefit from the experience of the students who have gone before them.
