Hey just some input to any nurses who may be losing hours d/t the increase in call offs in the treasure valley. Pleas be very careful should you want to pick up any hours w/ the company called MEDICAL STAFFING NETWORK. I have a long post in the general discussion forum, but Boise is small enough there advertisments are everywhere! Just didnt want any fellow nurses to get in trouble! Best of Luck

If you don't mind me asking...what is the issue?
Caringchic, I am not currently working with an agency. I am trying to find a job and not having ANY luck.
Do you want to work in the treasure valley or anywhere in the country? The treasure valley has two other travel agencies, both offer per diem work, contract both local and travel. My favorite is Elite Speciality Staffing, Jennifer Fields is the owner and the company is owned by two ICU nurses. They have contracts all over the Pacific NW. Local work in the treasure valley can be done w/ 24/7 Nurse Staffing and the other company is Hospital Staffing Network. I know both owners and they are ok as well. Do you work any speciality?
Aureius Medical is a great stable trustworthy company that have nationwide contracts. Their payrates are good and the work hard for their nurses, Melissa Khuen is a recruiter there.
24/7 recruiter is Amy McReynolds.
I hope you find somthing now is not the time to be unemployed :) best of luck to you....
Thanks for the info. I have a med/surg/ortho background as well as pediatric clinic. The big issue I have is that I haven't worked for 5 years and no one is willing to take a chance...and the time to train me. I can understand, but I am an excellent nurse and I want to get back out into the nursing world and make a difference. I am looking on a daily basis and I know that the right job will turn up. Thanks again for the info on the agencies.
