ICU STUDENT NURSE ASSISTANT OR OUTPATIENT INFUSION SUITE

Posted

Would you rather work in an inpatient ICU or an outpatient infusion suite as a student nurse assistant?

Those are two very different types of departments. In the ICU you will have sick patients for weeks and sometimes months on the unit and outpatient you will see different people all day long. What are your interests and where do you want to end up after you graduate? I work in the ICU as a tech and I love coming to work everyday and doing my job. But I always knew critical care was where I wanted to end up working after I graduate, so it was a smart move for me career wise to work in the ICU as a tech.
