Published

Hi Everyone,

I am looking into attending ICHS and wanted to know what are some of the best places to stay in Florida while conducting clinical studies?

I understand @MrsDean2022. LOL. I appreciate it a lot. I know of someone in ICHS who hasn’t done any clinicals but done with her first semester. I actually don’t know how they will cope . I wish you the best

Yes. We heard that from some of the students that started in June that they did not do clinicals yet and it may be next year when they do.  Interesting how this confusion about clinicals are. Hopefully they will figure it out. I don't mind doing a push to the end of the program thing. Save money.

Try Nightingale. You can search for it and join forums to talk to their students.

I just started in the October Cohort at ICHS and so far it is going well. There are about 350 students in our cohort. So far it's cool.

We will have clinical orientation on Friday to learn about how clinicals will go for our class. We do clinical simulations and skills labs online for now.

Hi,

would you willing to email me about the program? I would love to know more because I am thinking about applying for the February cohort. All nursing programs have negative reviews and I’ve been to BSN program Had to drop 3 months in due to catching covid and let me tell you the program was horrible. So I’ve seen it all and heard it all. Try taking 6 classes at one time with no real help on top of clinicals and labs . So I doubt this program could be any worse LOL. my email is [email protected]

Taking 6 classes is within the realm of a college student's load. that would be 18 credits if they are each 3 credits. Somehow I doubt all classes are 3 credits each. A lab section is 2 credits. For a clinical day each 3 hours counts as 1 credit. Classroom sessions are 1 credit for each hour..

A college does try determine a realistic load, You are focusing on 6 courses. Focus on the time factor for each class. Try to reapply, surely you have learned some of the content and  will seek out a "Student Success Professional" . Unless this was a for profit school  there should be services to help you.

Frankly a normal college load is 18 credits/per semester but I do see now college semesters at 13 credits. An ADN requires 60 credits minimum, BSN requires 120 credits minimum.

Hi guys! I’ve been so stressed due to a lot of waitlist programs in Cali and because of friends I found ICHS. Im here to see others opinions. I turned in my application and I was told that I’m missing a class which is I can choose between philosophy or religion. I’m trying to complete that now and paid 158 at StraighterLine the school I was referred to for the missing pre reqs. Then I inquired about the LVN test where If you pass you don’t have to take pharmacology and another class. Any advice for anyone who took the program already?
