To all of you who go to 265 questions, dont give up hope! All my classmated went to 75 questions and shut off. Then I started to hear that they all passed. One student went to 79 questions and ran home, looked up the answer to the last question and fortunately got it right and saw his name on the BRN website 2 days later. I have been the only one in my class to go to 265 questions and thought that meant I failed. Well, I am now a R.N. and proud of myself. For all of you who go to 265, dont give up hope.... It doesnt mean you failed!

Congratulations for us that went all the way to the end and worked very hard! No one cares about that after you passed. License in the box.
I agree. I feel like having to go to 265 was very hard work. And to find out you passed... makes it all worth it. We earned it for sure for having to stick it out to the end. Mine took 4 1/2 hrs to finish...lol. I took out my earplugs to find that everyone else was gone =/ hahaha... just so glad it's over now

Newrn1571 did you try the PVT method when you got home?
I tested today, got all 265 questions and feeling so hopelessness. I feel like I def failed after get all the questions. Well... i did do the PVT and got the bad pop up. So my odds are not looking so good.
And CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!
4:30 hours. That is the secret of your success. If you had taken all 6 hours it would be hard to pass. You did it fast.

Marcos, not sure where you are going with the timing point... did you mean that if you run out of time it is hard to pass (that is true), or just that being faster in general helps (not true)?
Whats the bad pop up? A pop up that does not allow you to pay when you try to resechedule is supposed to be a good thing. But... On that note, keep in mind that the computer grades your test and in the pamphlet they give you it says that someone needs to manually go through your test to be certain that you passed of failed. (so im not sure I trust that method). I can't even begin to tell you how hopeless I felt. I felt like I definately did not know enough to answer all those questions. If you took ur test today you will know on the BRN website by next tues (if you took the NCLEX-RN test). Honestly I booked a flight from cali to long beach and spent the weekend away so I wouldnt drive myself crazy. I hoped for the best but prepared for the worst. Worst case scenario: you take it over in a month and half (45 days if you live in cali)....thats not too bad. Both of you try to keep it together, at this point whats done is done and theres no going back. Just bc all ur friends stopped at 75 does not mean you failed. I went to resechedule my test to try the "trick" and got a pop up and by the next tues my name was on the BRN website.
Marcos meant that I finished to 265 question exam in 4 1/2 hours instead of the 6 hours time slot we are alloted to complete that many questions. He thinks that my ability to answer the questions quickly is why I passed (like I was prepared and knew the answers). Honestly I am thankful to have passed but I feel like a went quickly bc I didnt sit on the questions that I had no clue about (which was most of them) and hope the answer would come to me. I just picked whatever looked most right and gave it my best guess and went on. I walked out of there thinking I had to of failed...so hang in there!!!
Not to mention that on all my practice tests I was scoring in the 60%'s. I have always been you aberage student. you average Joe who got a B is first semester, B in second, and C's in third and fourth. My program is known for being tough and the question style was similar to our exams so I was prepared for that... But the content is obviously much different. Also tough bc you dont know where to focus for this exam. Im just telling you this so that you know im just ur average student who went to 265 just like you guys and still passed. Hang in there! You will drive yourself crazy by next tues. LNNZ & LISA: im not sure where you live but if your in california like me then they have furlough fridays so a friend of mine who took her exam on a wed, me who took it on a thurs, and another friend of mine who took is on a friday all got our results very early in the morning the following tues (i think one girl even checked at 3:00 am tues morning) and our names were posted.
