Hi,

I want to relocate to Dallas from Florida. I am so fed up with Florida--so ready to move.:down:

I have been looking online and can't find what I am looking for as far as a job. I want a non clinical job. I would like to get away from the bedside and try something new. I am not too familiar with the DFW area--where would be a good place to look and start applying??

My sister is a wellness coordinator and coach for an insurance company. She is always trying to convince me to apply there. Her company uses nurses as both case managment/reviewers or as health educators. It is certainly something I have considered as she often has the option to work from home, and that seems like a dream to me:)!! Here in the DFW area there are several major insurance companies that either already have a wellness division or are beginning to focus on the education and prevention aspect of care that they provide. Something to consider!! Good luck!!

What kind of "away from the bedside"? Like home health, or really far away, like pharm sales? :)

I would maybe look at pharm sales or medical supply. Great pay and they love nurses for reps because the learning curve is much faster. Good luck!
