Is their any way i can get insurance...Im not eligble for free insurance...anybody else ever been in the same predicament?

That was me! I had no insurance, and my husband and I are both self employed. My school required it in order to attend clinicals, so I had to go find some. I found it through Aetna. My school no longer requires us to carry it...

good luck!

Our school offered low cost insurance for students. I'm surprised that your nursing program did not offer this at your orientation meeting.

our school just required us to get student nurse insurance. I think it was only like 10 dollars. I didnt have health insurance all through school because I couldnt work fulltime.

I didn't go to the orientation yet, but maybe they will tell us there...

Wow... that would've been nice. They did not offer it to us. We were responsible for our own.

Call the school office and ask about this now, so that you have time to decide what you are going to do or save up the money, or whatever. Anything to avoid a delay or a worse disappointment.

Our school offers student health plans for an annual cost of either 2474 or 1914, whichever plan you chose. You must be covered but can opt out if you have private insurance.

I just found the information on the school website.
