I took NCLEX and...

My computer shut off at 85. Is that true that you need to have tons of SATA questions in order to pass???? I only had 3 SATA and 3 drug cal but tons of priority/teaching/safety and infection control questions. During the exam, I didn't feel as confident as I would like to be but when I walked out of that building, I felt very happy!

What do you think, guys!?!?! Did I pass????

I hate the feeling of having to wait!

I think I only had 2 SATA and on one of them I chose all...I had 2 pharm and I swear to this day I dont know how it happend but I had zero OB. No baby scenario no pregnant mom scenario. I had some teaching, some diet questions( maybe those did have some drugs in the question--so maybe i had a few more pharm) I had 3 math, two were almost identical and one was somewhat tricky.

Anyways point being, I think I got the dumby test, as it was just not that hard, I finished with 75 questions and I left Pearson Vue smiling ear to ear knowing I did well. The next day I had a lic number, I passed.

So dont worry about not having a bunch of SATA, I didnt.

Cant wait to hear your good news on your official passing!!!

I really wouldn't worry about not having that many SATA questions. A lot of people in my program that recently took said they only received 8-12. I on the other hand had 30 (no kidding!!!) SATA's but didn't feel I had near enough priority questions. My questions were all over the place.

I will know in the next day or two so we'll see. But from everything I have heard, SATA questions DO NOT determine a better chance of passing or failing.

I was just wondering b/c besides having ONLY 3 SATAs, I had 3 drug cal and I've heard that having drug cal's on NCLEX is NOT good to have!!

I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT MY NCLEX TODAY & I'm stressing out!!!! :banghead:

SATA's are just a type of question getting many or less at the moment will not make any difference. All you can do is wait for results. Good luck

I also took my NCLEX today ang got about 3-4 or 4-5 SATAs only. I hope getting a few SATAs don't indicate a failing grade!

Had about 4 calculations. 2 of them were almost the same only different scenarios.

Since the BON I chose is CA, I will be waiting for one month for the results!

WOW. I couldn't imagine having to wait a month. A couple of weeks ago, the Texas BON was posting licenses at 24 hours after the test. Within the last week though it has turned to 48 hours. I took mine yesterday and have been trying to not stress out.......yeah right!

^^^ I now wish I chose TX or other states that release results fast!

Good luck to all those who took the exam!
