Okay. I have been a lurker on this board for months now. I just graduated in May and finally took the BIG Nclex-RN test this morning. It shut off at 75 questions, but I really feel horrible about it. (I know I know, everyone says that..haha) I had TONS of oncology and chemo questions, I was dissapointed by that. I can't tell if they were supposed to be difficult (upper level questions, meaning I was doing well) or if they were just hard for me. Everything else seemed to be priority questions. Anyway, we'll see in a few days! - Kim

good luck, and don't focus on if you failed or not, just be thankful it's over and you did ur best. I took my test april and I had cold sweats nightly until I found out I passed! in my state(texas) you can view your unofficial results online for a small fee. congrats!!!
Since I got so many priority questions, I was wondering, are they considered upper level and heavily weighted? I got tons of infection control as well.

Most of the time, lots of priority = good news. Hang in there and keep us posted!

Kimmy,
I took the NCLEX recently and had several priority questions as well and I didn't have any drug calculations. I also had the minimum of 75 questions and was very unsure of my performance on the test. I did indeed pass but I think I questioned myself a million times as to how I had answered several questions, several I found I had answered wrong. I was flipping through book after book after the test to see if I had answered a certain question right and sure enough there were plenty I had not. Some how in the end I made it and passed, and you will to.

Kimmy...I took it this morning as well! Probably 25% or more prioritization (What would you do first?) Another 10-15 "choose all that apply" and I think my weak point must have been infection control because I got several....thanks to this board, I'm gonna assume I did ok.
May (has come and gone, and now it's over so I'll need to change my screen name)

hello all
wow its been a while since i posted here in this website because i was busy preparing for the nclex since feb this year and finally took it last june 8... after taking it... i was just crying..... i felt horrible... i thought to myself... i prepared for the exam and studied hard everyday and i feel miserable... i think all of you guys feel the same way after you did all that work. i have read saunders, nclex cram and even nsna and mosby... i have done over 3000 questions and still made me feel unprepared for the exam....ofcoorifice it made it even more stressful since ca board for rn takes a long time for you to know your results... i am just patiently waiting and see if my name does pop up in the bon website... just keeping myself busy cooking.... lol
last time, i had i think 160 questions and failed... which i took 6 hours to finish..this time, i had 230 and took 6 hours as well... my goodness.. i thought i am ready to fall out of my chair...there were only 2 people in the room and i had to take my breaks twice just to go to the bathroom... a lot of infection control, priority and general knowledge..ofcoorifice meds (just one math question)....
i guess i am just venting and hopefully gain some encouragement and prayers from all of you...
goodluck to all of us.... :angryfire
if you got a lot of high level questions including priority that's a good thing from what i've heard..........
