The TEAS V book from the ati website helped me out a lot and I also used the McGraw Hill 5 teas practice tests good luck

no advice whatsoever. I am FREAKING out about the teas test. went online and looked at sample questions. There is so much subject matter covered that I have forgotten since leaving high school. does the study guide really help?

It helps with everything but the science. What is in the study guide is on the test, but the questions on the test are much, much more in depth.
I take the teas test may 10th .
Fraction give me trouble too . Weirdly the last time I took the teas I passed math and not reading /:-/ . I've been doing fraction work sheets that my school provides . Just doing the study guide doesn't work. I'm doing flash cards so I can remember my math facts quickly .
I've been doing different types of reading . The reading section was so dry , not interesting at all. I've been taking reading test as well.

As far as the science section goes I'm using cliff notes on subjects like biology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, physics, earth science. The reason being is because I have heard some many talk about every test is different when it comes to the science part. It is not just knowing anatomy and physiology they'll throw other material in there some are more concentrated in one subject than others. I hope this helps.

that's unfair for them to do that for science section when they clearly state the criteria for science in their ati book. and after taking the practice assessment A, the science section had little bit of everything from anatomy, physiology, earth science, physics, and chemistry. what's wrong the test makers of ATI?!

I have taken Teas 5 last year and used the ATI study guide. I had a couple question on my test that came right out the study guide. It helped me a lot. I have take it twice with 1.9% difference and I got accepted into a LPN-RN program. I don't know if it is the percentage that the school looks at because my school look at how many you get right and calculate it that way. For instance, if you make a 70% it comes out to be at 87. With Reading portion I would say just take your time with it. Read the questions first if needed, so you would be knowing what your looking out for.

Don't have any advice, but good luck!
Did you have a different test the second time around. I will be taking a TEAS for the second time at the same school and was wondering if the test will be completely different?

I too will be taking my THIRD try in a week or so. I am so freaked out. I have been studying the best I can and it just seems that the science is ridiculous to remember all of it! This is my last shot and I am having anxiety over this test. I know my medical things but the earth science and chemistry is killing me!!! My first test and second test had a 3 point difference, ugh, I expected to do so much better. I wish you good luck, I know the stress you're feeling right now. Someone asked if the test is different each time. Yes so far, both tests were different questions same topics of course.

I'm also experiencing this test anxiety that I normally wouldn't feel on any final for any type of class. I think it's because it's my last shot and is like a make or break thing. I only have a little over a week left to study and my work is giving me a hard time about taking days off so it's killing me lol.
The sciences, especially the chem is giving me a hard time as well so I feel all your pain lol. I haven't had chemistry in almost forever. I'm trying to get down basic concepts and going to try and move on. I still need to practice math drills to take off pressure of the time clock.
