Took the Nclex this morning, and did about 250 questions, the screen said my exam is over....did it mean that i don't have to take the 265 questions, and i pass? Very frustrated after finished the exams, i think i did awful ....

First of all, let me say good job for simply taking the NCLEX , its a tough one I hear.. :)
Let me ask, did you use all the 5 hours? Because there are three possible reasons why the computer shut down,
1.) You went the whole 5 hours, so the computer shut down... Even if you don't finish all the 265 questions, once its 5 hours already, i think it shuts down..
2.) The computer determined that you already exceeded the needed percentage to determine that you are a competent nurse, and that you will pass..
3.) The computer determined that you did not do very well and already achieved a certain percentage and determined that you did not pass...
These are the scenarios that might be the answer to your question.. You don't have to take the maximum number of questions (265), the minimum number is 75...
I am not discouraging you or anything, ok? :) Have faith my friend, and pray.. You already did your part by taking the exam, leave the rest up to GOD... You just have to wait now for your results, if you want, I hear a lot about the PVT trick, if you want to try it...
Good luck! and I pray that you have a great result waiting for you... :)

Thank you so much Faithful Pau for the detailed information:heartbeat
I remember i still have 1 hour and 40 minutes left, and i did about 245-250 questions...
I felt very depressed after the exam, and i just did the PVT trick, it was a good pop.... Hopefully, its gonna become true....:)
I guess the best thing i can do is waiting....

No problem! anything to help out.. I can feel that you're very anxious about the exam, just thought to help ease at least a bit... And let me be the first to say CONGRATULATIONS!!.. Hahaha... I hear the PVT is really dependable on its results... but then again, you won't be completely unbounded unless you see your name in the BON list of professionals...
It is just a matter of "when you see it", the "if you see it" is now over... YOU WILL!! I'm so happy for you!
Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Even though still not sure if i pass or not, thank you !
I studied from the Kaplan(not the book,i just searched on the internet and found some practice questions), and used WWW.scribd.com this is a very good website that you can search key word like " nclex notes" or "nclex reviews", there are a lot of PDF files of study materials in there.... when are you taking the Nclex?
