I survived my first semester!

I just wanted to share that I survived my first semester in nursing school :D

I have to say it was a lot harder than I expected. I was an A student before my first nursing class but I failed my first nursing lecture exam and that was an eye opener. The test was completely different from what I had done in the past. The final was HARD!

Now that I know I passed I can enjoy my vacation before school starts again. I do believe that my spouse is more excited about the fact that I passed though

my first semester was really hard as well. i also am an a student and failed my first nursing exam, but somehow i passed my first semester. lol! i am really hoping that next semester will not be as hard, i have peds and med-surg.

Those that failed their first exam, did you study a lot? Do they not tell you what is going to be tested? I would be devastated if I failed a test. In the school I am going to apply for, they say you can't get less than 75% on tests or 100% on med calculations. What happened when you failed your tests?

I made it through my first semester too, it wasn't as hard as I thought it was until the final. I pass all the test but failed the final I thought I knew the info well so I failed to study, LESSON LEARN:bugeyes:

I too passed my first semester....I did fairly well on all my tests till the final, which I unfortunatly didn't pass...luckly there was an average of all the grades, thank goodness....yes I didn't study for the final either..oops..lesson learned...reminder to self...review all the data throughout the semester..it will help! :idea:

Guess I better get to studying before the next semester begins..bleh

I passed my first semester too! All six classes! I didn't fail anything, but I did get the lowest passing grade once. That was on my first exam, which was scary! Anyway, goooo us!
