I am taking the NCLEX in 1 month. I graduated about 5 months ago and was not able to sign up until now. I was taking care of my grandfather.
My question is I feel that I have forgotten about 50% of what I learned in school. I did purchase this book :
Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN Examination / Edition 5
Right now all I am doing is taking the practice questions online. I am doing about 100 questions a day and writing down any meds or definitions that I don't know. I sometimes read the book. ABout 1 -2 hours of reading and about 4 hours of online practice questions.
Is there any online reviews, other books, or anything at all that you recommend I study?
I can really use any help at all. Thanks and I am glad I found these forums for nurses.

I would also suggest knowing your lab values. Continue doing questions on a daily basis if you can. Saunders is an excellent book to study from. All the best to you.

I used the Saunders book when I tested. I studied by system because they was how the chapters were broken up for the most park,, I'd do cardio for 3 days, then respiratory for 3 days, etc.. I memorized all the diseases in that darn book lol! Instead of trying to fill your brain with everything focus on wha you need, like specific s/s for a disease or specific nursing interventions for that disease. I got a lot of sata questions on s/s. good luck!
