I start school in May, should do the ASN program or the BSN program?

Published

I am 22 years old and a single mother of 4. My goal is to become a CRNA. I know I have to have a bachelors degree in Nursing and a couple of years experience in acute care first. I was going to do the ASN program first, graduate then go back immediately and do the RN-BSN program. I thought that approach would be better because I would be able to work as a RN while attending the RN-BSN program. Should I do it that way, or should I just do the BSN program. The school I want to attend is Cox College in Springfield, MO. They offer ASN program, BSN program, or RN-BSN program. Which one should I do, any suggestions?????

hi. well you cant do RN-BSN cus you are not an RN yet. if you do the ASN its shorter and you can get a job while working on your BSN @ least that what i did. then do the RN-BSN which you can compelete in 6-12months or longer depending on the school just make sure they are accredited.good luck.
