At my new facility! I'm kind of nervous considering the only place I've ever worked since graduation was the "other" nursing home.
This new place looks more professional, and I hope it is...I even get 3 whole days orientation with another nurse! (At the old place, I had none).
I hope I meet expectations and I really hope and pray I like my job! (This is the place I have decided to stay until I graduate~3.5 yrs, unless God forbid, something horrible happens!)
Keep me in your thoughts and say a little prayer for me that things go well. Lots of turnaround in this old life lately...new job and start school Monday too! (So if I disappear awhile, you'll all know why! LOL!)
God bless each and every one of you......
Hugs~
Julie :)

Good luck to you! :) Just want to remind you to not get discouraged if the first few weeks aren't what you expected. I'm one to come home crying for a little while at the start of a new job before I settle in and feel comfortable. I know, I'm a big baby!:chuckle

Julie,
give yourself sometime to get settled in. Those first couple of weeks are the time you need to get use to the residents, where everything is at and the other little things that come with a new job. Good luck with your new job and school. I will say a prayer for you. God Bless!
