I have applied to OHSU and wont know until April. I am so scared I wont get in. I usually dont try for anything because of disappointing myself, but I am taking the plunge. What will I do? I am just going to be a mess for the next couple of months. Any words of advice? :uhoh21:

If you don't get in this semester, there is always the next! Also, better your chances by applying to more than one school (universities & community colleges). If it is the lord's will...you will get in when the time is right! Best of luck to you.... God Bless!

Good luck! I hope you get in. If not, there's always next semester.

Honestly, if God wants you to get in, you will. Like another poster said, go ahead and apply to as many colleges as possible. Pray and faith, b/c if God has a purpose for you in the health field, you're there, honey. Good luck.

Just be persistent. If you don't get in this time try, try again. Eventually you will. We're all in the same boat waiting for our letters....

Smelius, have confidence that you will get in. If you have the requirements, why be scared? Just relax and wait with confidence and everything will work out. Good luck to you.

You will try again! You've come this hard, and you can't give up. You survived the pre-reqs and you know how many people didn't manage to do that!
I haven't gotten to the application part yet, but my favorite phrase is "IF I dont/do get in...." A co-worker finally just told me "No more ifs! You will get in, your a smart girl!"

Have faith! OHSU is kind of odd in their acceptance (if we are both talking about Oregon Health Sciences University). I heard tons of stories about students not getting in to various Portland schools and got waay to stressed about it. Thing was, most of the ppl I knew that applied, and also myself, got in. (I ended up choosing Linfield due to better financial aid/scholarships) I also heard later that many ppl who were alt. listed also got in. I think that if you have a competetive GPA with everything completed, a motivated personal statement, and got everything in on time, that you have a great chance!
I agree with smili. Dont listen to what folk is saying, because most of the times, it is not true. The same for me, people were telling me how the school I am attending was hard to get in. I got in, on the first try.
Thank you everyone for your kind words. I feel a lot better. Thanks again everyone. This site is the best!!:)
