:typingIn November of 2007, I mailed out the application form for Ca BON included in the application was my personal check for processing fee as requried by the board. On November 19, 2007, the check cleared. The cancelled check is now in my possession which proves to me that the application was received by the office.
However, up and until now, I haven't received any letter or note of confirmation regarding the receipt of my application. It is over 4 months now and I have not heard anything from the office regarding the approval of my application.
PLsss. help.

Four months is the average, we have seen quite a few take longer than that. Just because they received your application, it does not mean that they received the transcripts from your school and verification from the PRC, if needed, at that time.
CA does a full evaluation on their own, and they do not start it until they have everything.

California BRN usualy check your papers/aplication and they will send you a notice for lacking requirments. please make sure you school send your transcript already bu in your case im sure they have it known lot here a average of 2 mons, if the BON found out yo lack requirments they willl send you a checklist for the requirments to be send to them as soon as possible.

usually for retake it shouldn't be long. has she registered with pearsonvue as they will send att once they have confirmation from bon?
not yet because she is waiting for the eligibility letter first before registration with pearson vue..
so can she proceeed with pearson vue even without the confirmation letter?
with her 2nd retake, it took her only 1 month of waiting with her eligibility letter...

i would suggest a quick phone call and check they have received her paperwork, if it took a month last time it should be similar this time
that is what we are expecting...
we did call and emailed but to no avail...
calling them took us so long in waiting till our call credit lapsed.
anyhow, thank u for the info... we'll call them again next week..
Go ahead and register with Pearson-Vue, she is not waiting for initial approval to sit for the exam.
Letters do not always show up in the mail in your country as you are aware of. As soon as Pearson-Vue gets the approval and the payment, they will release the ATT.

regardless on knowing ca received your school docs it still takes approx 4-6 months for ca to assess your paperwork. i would give it a bit longer
It is four to six months from when they have received all documentation in your file, including your transcripts for them to evaluate it; they do not do anything without the transcripts being there at all. So the four to six months is from that time, so you still have time and we are starting to see longer times for some due to the large number of applications that they receive.
