I was beyond worried after reading for several weeks on here about people not doing so hot on NCLEX! I must say, it was by far one of the hardest exams I've ever taken! I have no idea how many questions I had, I quit looking at 200. I was getting very discouraged, and then my screen went blue! I left the testing center, called my friend and just started crying, I was positive I had failed. I was so upset, thinking how in the world am I going to prepare to take this test again??! Thankfully, when I got home I did the Pearson vue trick and got the good pop up. I still didn't believe it, I kept checking BON website, until finally on Monday I saw my name!!
I studied Hurst (fabulous!) & did live review in May, yellow saunders review book, and looked over a few kaplan questions I found online. The important thing is to know your core content, period! Throughout nursing school, all of our tests were nclex style Q's so I was pretty comfortable going in. BUT they weren't anything like what was on the actual NCLEX. Take your time, terminology can vary widely on this exam and Q's along with answers can be VERY wordy!!!
Good luck to all of you, YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Congrats! Can I ask you how you did on the Hurst Q Reviews? I'm taking the test next week and I still have two more to do. I don't know if I am ready I've been scoring from 75-82/125 and its really discouraging. Thanks for the help and Congrats!

Hurst Q review I think helped me a lot! Read those rationales too! My scores were all in 82-89 range too. I did not do the last 2 tests, but I wish I would've. Good luck!!! :)
