I need motivation to begin studying for the NCLEX-RN

i understand how you feel, got the same feeling when i failed the 3rd time, its like i felt like i already did everything but still failed until i realized the everything that i was talking about is reading what i only want to read, my books still looks brand new with the CD at the back unopenned so technically i did not really study and was just hoping for luck. i could not study bymyself coz if the book opens my eyes close, i can stay infront of the computer the wholeday watching youtube, browsing the net but never reading nclex questions for somereason it has a sedating effect on me. so i took a classroom review and so glad i took it coz most of the questions i got from the exam were literally mentioned in the review. BTW i took excel review center, and i met some goodfriends there that helped me a lot in group study or discussion, so interactive discussion works best for me, i suggest you take a review class or call your friends/classmates to help you in a group study, it only took me 10 days to review and absorbed a lot. so goodluck

hi xtian0143rn where can i find that excel review center, do they have class offers here in CA too? i think i need that coz books and computer has a sedative effect to me too, thankz and congratulations, i plan to go home in phils to take a class review plus visit my family and relatives too if i failed this december 31 exam, but my unlce said its not a good idea, but for me it is, Iam more comfortable in phils. than here, but i dont know coz i still have to earn money for the fare and payment for the review class, kaplan is also having class but 6pm-9pm for 7 days, it doesnt sound productive, can u give me some advice with this things thanks.. ",

to prinseza28, we have the same feeling, plus the fact that there are lots of distractions here, i even take a 2 weeks leave from work coz its hard to study when ur physical body is tired, im kinda emotionally disturbed right now too but im quite fine, maybe what we need is think about our love ones how happy they will be if we show them our very own USRN lisence (i learned that from my review center for NLE phils.) plus the fact that u will be earning $35.00 per hour as a starting rate when ur already working as USRN hope that one will work for u,. Hi zoe, check mo ung website nila for schedules there in cali, i think they have upcoming review in burbank try their website at excellnursingreview.com, and I think ur uncle is right, not a good idea to have ur review in PI, u'll end have going to malls there than reviewing lol. anyway gudluck and looking forward to ur zoeRN sn . haha like mall of asia, no im not that type of person, im more of a home buddy person, i just miss my friends, family and relatives there, thats one of the reason why i wanna go HOME.But they are all working now,. Sometimes I feel like i dont belong here, and one more thing I dnt know the place ur telling me, Im just new here in CA,And I just got my drivers license last few days, im still scared driving in freeways hehehe, coz I spend two yrs in Alaska, and our place there is like a province, no freeway, there are no traffic lights,no only left only right lane hehe,but I hope Il be fine soon hehe.As they said, there is no place like home. thank u and take care, congrats pa pala hehe God Bless

hi, i would recommend that you take the review course of Mam J. Udan in california if you need further information just pm me. i assure you that you'll gonna have a great chance to pass the nclex the next time around. i did took my exam 3x i failed but when i enrolled at her review center i did made it the 4th time. hope this helps you a lot and don't lose hope and have faith that you'll gonna make it this time. i dnt know how to pm u, does she have any class here in rancho cordova, and how much does it cost? kaplan is so expensive and i really cant afford it right now
