Hi, my name is Megan and I am looking for an LVN to interview in the Houston or close by area. I have to have the interview done within the next week or so as I have just received a letter in the mail stating I need to do this for my application. I would love any answers I got! Thank you!!!!

If you live in Houston I'm sure it would be easy enough to call a hospital, clinic, doctor's office or LTC & ask for a nurse to interview. I'm sure that is what the school wants.
Plus this being the internet, anyone can pretend to be a nurse.
Coming back to post again & reiterate my point about how anyone can be a nurse online.
Your screen name is meganthenurse91 but you state that you just got into nursing school. See how easy it is to claim to be something you're not on the internet?

You'll find an abundance of LVNs to interview at one of the many long term care centers in the area. My suggestion would be to call Coleman (or whatever campus you're applying to) and ask what facilities they have clinical arrangements with, then call that facility and make arrangements with them.
I answered on your other thread, you should call the school and find out which facilities they have clinical agreements with, then call one of those facilities and make arrangements to do your interview.
Well actually I am a CNA at the moment, but I get your point. Thanks
Thanks a bunch! That's a great idea, I was thinking about asking the RNs I work with that also care for my patient but I am trying to get it done this week since I have to write 3 pages on it. That is a better idea, and I can just do both and go with whichever one works out first!

Hello Megan,
I was wondering if you heard anything back from HCC about the LVN program. I called today and she said that Stephanie mailed out some letters this past Tuesday Dec 2nd. I'm getting nervous now because it has been a little over a month since I did my interview and I haven't heard back from them yet. Please keep me updated and I will do the same with you.

Hi Emerald, I also called this week on Thursday and was told they were sent out as well. I am wondering where the letters are too pretty nervous at this point. Good luck to both of us, but I guess they are just taking forever with the process! Try not to stress too much and hopefully we both get it! I'll let you know when I get mine.
Good luck ladies!
Hello Megan!! I received my second letter today 12/6. I am sooo excited.. All I have to do now is collect all of my documents to turn them in... My shot record, physical, etc.. Keep me posted.. Good luck!!
