I Need Help with this type of Drug Corticosteroids

I have assignment on Corticosteroid drugs..i need to find out about how why..drug developed///history and extent of use in australia. something like that...do you know which website to search for....i find alot information from textbook but we not allow to used textbook, we have to use article... i really need help here....

the drug is used mostly in diseases like arthritis, lupus, adrenal gland disease, etc. if you go to websites of organizations devoted to helping the people who have those diseases you should be able to find information on why they are used in those diseased states. here in the u.s. we have a number of online drug guides. i don't know that the drugs have the same brand names as those used in australia. one of the things you should have as a nursing student is some sort of a nurses drug reference book in order to look up the answers to this assignment.

i recommend that you ask the nurses on the australian nurses forum on this website how to get drug information for your area of the world. i'm sure they'll be able to help you more effectively. there are a number of australian student nurses who hang out on the forum here who i can help you.

surfing the internet is something you learn to do. you click on things and explore them. for instance, i did a search for "history of corticosteroids" to find the one article i put up as a link for you. however, i had to look at about 5 or 6 articles before i found that this one fit what you were looking for. that is the fun of searching on the internet. you just have to check out what you get when you do a search. all the search does is match the words you put in the search box. you have to pull up each article and browse through it to see if it fits your requirements. it takes a lot of time to find the right one sometimes. that, and learning how to narrow your search words to the right ones that will give you articles you want.
