I just passed HESI last week. I did NCLEX questions, I did at least 100 a day for the week before HESI. I used any source I could find of NCLEX questions, NCLEX 3500, books, websites, etc. I think Saunders is probably the best review book. If you had more time I would recommend Hurst review, I did not do it but plan on it before I take the actuall NCLEX. My classmates that did Hurst loved it, and scored very very high on HESI, but it is a process not something you can do in just a few days.
Good luck! It really was not as bad as I had expected.

I used the NClex for Dummies book. It has a full-length (265 questions) CD-rom that I took, and I read the first few chapters on test-taking strategy (it teaches you things like "if you see words like this in the question, look for words like these in the answers" etc). I passed my exit HESI with a 982.
