Hi Everybody,
Im 14 almost 15 years old. I am in health occupations at school which is a nursing type elective. When Im a Junior (right now Im a freshman) I can be certified as a CNA. But I volenteered at the hospital here this summer and we had to wear an orange tshirt that they gave us and white scrub pants. Well needless to say I ended up wearing khaki jeans. Thats only because I couldnt find any scrubs to fit me. Im around 4'10 and I weigh 90 pounds im sorry to say. I dont want to weigh 90 pounds. And Im dreading hitting 100. But Im so short and I cant find pants that fit me. Like I went to a supplier and I tried some on and they were too low in the "middle of the legs area" and too long. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
Thanks
Destany

Can you find white jeans where you found the khaki ones?
(Is this Future_RN from GA? The one with a twin? I wondered where you'd gone.)

Making elastic waist pants is the easiest thing there is. very cheap also. There are two peices to cut out, and an easily put in pocket if you want to add it. TAkes about 30 minutes to set them up. I make them a lot since hard to fit cause have a high rise and need to add in extra lenght in the crotch. Adjusting the pattern is easy and once you get it where you need to be, will always have it.
I wanted coulottes for work and took a long shorts pattern and had colored knee length uniform coulotttes for less than 5 bucks a pair.
Only bummer on white is very sheer (even store bought ones), but a medium weight sheet in white would probably be heavier in weight and just as cost effective than fabric by the yard. Would be a great home-ec project if you are still in school and that class if offered. If your worried about loose threads, do a flatfeld seam or use a serger and wont be a problem.
OH yeah, did anyone ever tell you not to wear printed or colored undies underwhite pants. Full waist whites or taupes are best under scrubs, not bikinis or thongs. I know that sounds silly, but you would not beleive you many people wear them.
Yep thats me. Im the twin :chuckle . Thanks for the help
