I just took my NCLEX on Friday. It was unlike any other test I have ever taken! My best advice- start preparing NOW.Remember that basics ( lab values, abbreviations med classes foundations etc..) AND I highly recommend taking a Kaplan Course- that is mainly what I used to study and I found it VERY helpful =) I find my results out monday- I am hoping I passed and hope this helps you!!

I attended a local community college here in San Antonio, Texas. I took the exam 26 January, 2012. I am unable to talk about specifics; but I found it easy, straight forwards and fair. I passed at 85 questions, got the good "pop-up" and called my board of nursing today to confirm.
You can ease your tensions by applying yourself in school, reading, studying hilighting in your books.
Most defenitely you will need to know lab values.
I took a month off after I graduated and studied 4-6 hours a day for three weeks after I received my ATT.
This studying was not to learn more, but to keep the information I had learned in school fresh.
