I am driving myself crazy  trying to figure out what kind of recorder to buy. Class starts in a week and a half so I need some help here. I checked with my professors via email they are all fine with using one. If you don't mind can you just tell me

1. what kind of recorder you have

2. some of its features(record time, sound quality, ect)

3. if you would reccommend it

anything else you feel is important.

I was thinking about this one http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Digital-built-Memory-recorder/dp/B000HX6SJM/ref=sr_1_37?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1219411319&sr=1-37 beause it has a camera and I thought that would be great for labs, but it only has 2 reviews so I'm stuck again.

anywho..............

Thanks guys :D

1. I have an Olympus DS-2 digital recorder.

2. It has a total record time of just under 23 hrs (yes I said HOURS). Sound Quality is excellent, picks up sound well even at back of room, not too much static when record/playback. It has 5 folders, so I can organize different classes into different folders.

3. I would highly reccomend it to anyone!!

4. The recorder records in DSS but the software for the computer has a conversion to WAV so that makes things easier.
