Hello guys! I am so happy , because yesterday I passed my LVN entrance exam, and my class starts on January 30th. I am nervous, because I heard its really hard. I have been reading a lot of books about nursing. Any tips and advice??

i am in the waiting pool for the program right now, so i don't have any legit tips to give you on the actual program, but i wanted to make a post to give you a huge congratulations! i wish you the best of luck in all that you do! :D

^ Thank you! I hope you get accepted. Btw, are you going to a community college or a private school? because I am going to a private school. I am worried, worst comes to worst i fail my first semester, would i still owe money from the school regardless? I know i have to be optimistic! :D

thank you! i am going to a community college! i guess it's inevitable to think about those kinds of things before you start the program. it's crossed my mind to, because i always hear the stories about half or over half of the class dropping the program or failing out in the first semester...not the greatest words to hear! but we must think confident! we will pass our first semester and go on to pass the rest of our semesters ahead! :)

Congratulations guys! :yeah:

I am in a similar situation as you, I passed my entrance exams as well, which lead to an interview for a spot in the program. Now I am here playing the waiting game hoping I get an email saying I will get into the program. Crossing my fingers.:)

Hey congrats on passing! what was on the exam specifically? Some say its 10th grade math and English and some say its a TABE D style test so i'm pretty confused.

Congrats on passing and on your upcoming start of school! I am starting in a few weeks and I couldn't be more excited. I just keep telling myself that it is going to be so much work, and that I really need to make sure everything else in my life is as organized as possible before the program begins. It will be tough but don't lose sight of why you wanted this as a career in the first place and with lots of hard work you will do fine!

YAY congrats!:) My biggest advice is to make sure you do all of your readings! never get behind!

I am also starting on the 30th..and very excited but super nervous. I am attending a private school to..what one did you choose?:)

Congradulations! Sorry so late. I hope all is going well! What was the entrance exam like? Was is hard? What level math and english was it? Also how are you liking the classes?
