yes, i have noticed it. it seemed like it used to only be a nice rounded number that was being reported and now just the real number. i've also noticed the increase in the number of people who are online and reading the various forums. you can see this number when you pull up the listings of the forums by groups (under the tabs). because i hang out on the student forums all the time i have noticed almost a 100% increase in the number of people online and viewing. it blows me away. i've told siri that i really have not thought much about how many people might be reading the things i write. she said, "you'd be surprised how many people are out there and reading." it still seems unbelievable to me. i've told her that i just feel like me sitting at home alone surrounded by my cats pounding away on the keyboard oblivious to who else my words might be affecting. it's kind of scary, but exciting too, to be a part of this.

I am proud to be a member of allnurses.com. I made sure that I elevated to premium membership in order to support this site. It is therapeutic, educational and fun. And, when I actually got my license last year, I really felt to be a part of this site because now, I AM a NURSE. Also, the anonyminity is perfect because it is easier to bear your soul or speak your mind when you cannot really be traced. It is a wonderful resource and a lounge to just vent! I love you guys, whether we agree on things or not.

I used to be amazed at the number few years back. I never imagined it could increase.

Yes, I have noticed too. It is kind of funny when you go way back and read threads from 1998 and there is only, like, two responses and now so many nurses here to help, give advice, support, whatever. It is exciting!
Thanks everyone for your responces. I am proud to know that I am not alone.

I LOVE this website. I am only at the beginning of my journey to becoming a nurse. It's so wonderful to have a place to get practically any question answered from such great people. I look forward to the continued support and future venting buddies! Let's face it - people outside the medical field will Never understand!

I love this website - I have met a lot of people and learned a lot. I get a lot by being able to journal and talk to people from all over the place!!
Plus, some nights I sit at work and just laugh out loud reading over the humor forums!!
