Hello Everyone!
What a great website! I am just in the begining stages of fullfilling my dream of becomeing a Nurse. At the age of 31! I am seeking some advice! Any input would be wonderful.
I am a single mother working full time and earn a good income, Is any one aware of evening classes in Cincinnati area?
It seems to me my best bet would be to get my LPN and go in the evenings...then work with it and go back and get my RN?>!?
Picking a school? Any advice.....
Are there good reputiable schools that offer distance learning?...:typing
Any advice would be great!!! Thank you:bow:

Hi there & congratulations on fulfilling your dreams of becoming a nurse!!! U & I are in the same boat, I 2 am 31 & a single parent. My plan is to start via the LPN program & then dridge to RN. I don't live in your area but I'm almost certain that someone will reply to your question regarding good schools. Good luck to you on all your success.:wink2:

Welcome! I actually go to University of Cincinnati and im in my senior year of the BSN program there. It is very hard to get your BSN by taking night classes here in cincinnati because most of the programs require you to go full time and take daytime classes. It might be easier for you to go to some place like Cincinnati State to get your ADN and then you go through a program that has a "RN to BSN program"..alot of those programs are online or evening classes and they are much more flexible..especially for women with children, who work and have families. or like you said, if you wanna get your LPN first they have like a trillion schools that offer that here in cincinnati. Most of which can be done in about a year..maybe even 9 months from what ive heard. But whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck..and if you have any more questions feel free to message me since im in your area.
Thank you so very much for the input!
And best of luck to you as well!
Thank you for your reply! Best of luck to you!
