Mistiqx, I actually accepted the spot at the other school and put my non refundable $100 tuition deposit down but I'll have to call them. That's going to be the toughest part because they are so nice and I loved the school. My first choice school is the community college I attend now. And it will cost me about $10k less now. I'd be crazy not to go there and it's about 5 miles away, as oppossed to 19miles away.

Congrats to you!!! I know how excited you must be. I am still waiting for the second letter. I'm not even sure which school is my first choice anymore. I had to put down a $200.00 deposit to one school. It is worth the peace of mind though. I had my physical today...that was fun. I just have to go back for the bloodwork, get a picture of myself and take my cpr class and I am all set to go. (Besides books and scrubs and maybe a pda and some good shoes and...oh sorry, just making a mental list!!)

Anyway, I'm boogying down with ya!! :monkeydance:

I hope not! I mean, they already have a long waiting list so it's not like they can't fill the spot.

I have to admit I'm nervous about it, but I have to do what's best for me. AND I'm going to make someone on the waiting list VERY happy!!

GottaGetin, that is so fantastic that you got your first choice!! I am sooo happy for you!!

Turning down schools isn't a bad deal, it is great that you get to choose what works best for you, all your hard work is paying off so CONGRATS!! :w00t:

These schools completely know how this whole thing works and expect some people to turn down their offers since most apply to multiple schools due to the competition, so don't feel bad at all!!
